The Company
Grampian Fasteners is an established company with a reputation for providing a
high quality service. We are the largest distributor of Industrial Fasteners in
the Grampian area and are continually expanding our product range. We are also
amongst the largest distributors in the UK for brands such as Beta and
NordLock.
We are a relatively small company with a total of 25 staff. There is a big
focus on technology within the company in order to make the operation highly
efficient. We place a very strong emphasis on understanding, retaining and
developing relationships with our customers. These customers are business
customers that represent all types of industry, although most are related to
the Oil & Gas industry.

ensures that they can also be successful. It isn’t rocket science – we simply
treat our customers as we would also expect to be treated.
The following vacancies are currently open;
Internal Sales
This is a role that is varied from day to day – different customers, different
products and different challenges. It is constantly changing and technically
stimulating – you will never know everything there is to know.
We are looking for an Internal Sales person to join our team. The primary
responsibilities of this role are to deal with incoming enquiries and orders.
Sales enquiries and orders are received in various forms (phone, fax, email)
and are entered onto our computer system.

You will require a good telephone manner and have an accommodating ‘can do’
attitude. As the face of the company, our company will be judged on how you
present yourself.

You should have a good capacity for learning. We have a large product range -
areas of which are technically challenging. You will undertake a structured
product training programme.

You also require good IT skills. The role revolves around using our internal
computer system to process enquiries and orders and to manage your work.
This role is a stepping stone to becoming an Account Manager with
responsibility for developing sales further with a number of specific
customers. Promotion will come when you can demonstrate that you have a good
knowledge of the business, our customers and products. Further sales training
will be given.
Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Mon – Fri 8:00am – 5:00pm; Sat 8:00am – 12:00am (on rotation)
