Loctite® 406 - Difficult to bond plastics and rubbers
Rapid bonding of rubbers (including EPDM), plastics and elastomers.
• When used with Loctite® 7239 Polyolefin Primer bonds difficult to bond plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE and thermoplastic rubbers.
Applications
Bonding silicone rubber to plastic housing in car door lock mechanisms. Bonding plastic housing base to fire extinguisher bottle. Bonding O-ring using the Loctite O-ring kit.
