Loctite® 5970 Loctite® 5970 cured-in-place, silicone gasketing material has fluid resistant formulation that is suitable for flange sealing applications with excessive joint movement. This black, single-component, alkoxy RTV silicone paste is resistant to liquid coolants, oil, and other automotive engine fluids. Non-slumping and non-corrosive, Loctite 5970 low odor, low volatility material does not contain MEKO (methylethylketoxime).
