Lindapter's new Type LS, premium self-adjusting clamping system manufactured from high-grade stainless steel equivalent to grade 316, is designed to offer extreme resistance in corrosive industrial environments e.g. offshore & food processing. Dubbed the Claw, the clamp is suitable for various flange thicknesses and slopes up to 10°.
As with other Lindapter products, no onsite drilling or welding, and no specialist tools or packing pieces required - dramatically improving ease of use, assembly speed, and of course, labour costs. It is available ‘off-the-shelf’ - greatly improving delivery times and unit costs.
The tail spans over slotted holes with special serrations to prevent the clamp rotating during installation. Available in sizes ranging from M10 to M20, with the largest featuring a clamping flexibility to fit flanges between 3 to 30mm in thickness. The M20 has a tensile safe working load of 18kN per bolt, calculated at a 5:1 factor of safety.
