Special Fasteners
In addition to our standard fasteners, Grampian Fasteners specialises in sourcing and distributing non-standard or high-integrity special fasteners and precision machined components for use in safety critical applications / harsh environments. We work according to designs / specifications provided by customers and can source all manner of fasteners and studbolts in a wide range of materials - with natural finishes or with special/exotic surface treatments.
Nord-Lock Bolt-securing Systems
For many years Nord-Lock has been working closely with a major oil company, to help establish a best practice for bolt securing at heights, and to minimise dropped objects related to bolted joints. The result of that work has put Nord-Lock in several of the world's largest oil companies' safety handbooks.
This was only possible thanks to the fact that Nord-Lock meet the high standard that these companies set for their suppliers of safety equipment. Nord-Lock also carry a DNV Certificate for their standard range of washers as well as the material most frequently used for corrosive environments, SMO254. The DNV Certificate ranges from 6mm - 36mm in these materials. The DNV Certificate can be downloaded here as a white paper.
