Customer Care Advisor

The Role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our customer care team.

The team deals with all quote and order requests received from customers. Much of this is done by telephone but they can also come by the way of email and fax. The primary focus of the team is to deliver exceptional customer service – ensuring that enquiries are responded to and orders are delivered, accurately and promptly.

Requirements

We operate our own in-house computer system. You will need to learn not only how this operates but how it supports all of the company’s business processes in all departments. Training will be provided.

We also offer a huge range of products. In order to be able to offer the service that customers expect, you will have to learn about the product range. This is an ongoing process and training will be provided but a motivation for self-learning is essential.

A good telephone manner and strong communication skills are required as the internals sales team is the key interface between the customer and the company.

Details

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 depending on experience.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday (with some flexibility to start and finish times)

Information & Systems Support Engineer

The Role

In order to support growth within the business, we are seeking an Information & System Support Engineer to join our team. While technical ability is very important, strong people skills and an ability to learn on the job are vital. On a day-to-day basis you will be supporting approximately 30 end users using Windows 7, Microsoft Office and our in-house IT solutions. You will also carry out maintenance and administration on our server infrastructure in order to ensure the smooth running of our IT systems.

You will gain exposure to a wide range of computer systems and software, from desktop machines (Windows 7) to servers (Windows 2003 & 2008 R2) and virtualization infrastructure (VMWare ESX 4).

We strive for continual improvement so while helping ensure the smooth running of our systems and developing your skills you will also play a role in shaping the IT infrastructure as business needs evolve.

  • Handle end-user support queries for Windows 7, Office 2010 and our in-house IT systems; provide both hardware and software support for users.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across our desktop and server infrastructure.
  • Record and document all support queries and changes to the system.
  • Provision of new user accounts and setup of new PCs.
  • Monitor our server and virtual machine (VMWare) infrastructure.
  • Administer and monitoring our backup system.
  • Maintain Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange servers.
  • Maintain our phone system (Avaya IP Office PBX).

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills at all levels (end users and IT team).
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of IT systems with a desire to learn more.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility in tackling new challenges with an ability to learn on the job.
  • Strong technical knowledge and an interest in a wide range of computer technologies.

Details

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience.
