Join us for an evening of education at Aberdeen University with the Nord-Lock Group and TAU Racing. Grampian Fasteners has been a sponsor of the university team for the last 8 years that builds a racing car to compete in the global Formula Student competition.

BOLTED JOINTS:

Our Nord-Lock Group guest speaker will cover the best bolting practices, the importance and comparison testing of secondary retention (bolt locking) under dynamic load conditions, the accuracy of torque tightening and the impact of using thread lock adhesives and lubricants upon the reliability of the joint, just to name a few! 
There will also be a comparison test conducted live on a small portable Junker vibration test rig.
